Kawasaki Ninja 250R RAM Mount Guide

 

Introduction

The following is I believe to be the most simple and elegant means of fastening a one inch RAM ball mount to a Ninja 250's handle bars.  The result is visually satisfying due its factory appearance.

 Instructions

• Locate the plugged and unused rear view mirror mounting holes on the clutch lever bracket and front brake master cylinder assembly.
• Carefully pry the plug from one or both depending on which side you will be using the RAM mount or if you will be using two RAM mount systems.
• Install a one inch ball with 10mm-1.25 pitch thread mounting stud (RAM part # RAM-B-349U).
• Or use a 3/8"-16 tap and tap handle to carefully rethread the holes and install a one inch ball with 3/8"-16 thread mounting stud (RAM part # RAM-B-236).
• Use a RAM mounting arm or accessory mount to tighten the ball mount.
• Follow the instructions for the remainder of your RAM mount system.
