Responsibilities: Local implementation of long-range planning for technology; planning, bidding, purchasing, installing, maintaining, supporting, and trouble-shooting of educational computer systems; coordinating software purchasing and support services. Responsible for facilitating staff in-service and training in educational technology and technology integration. Served as computer network administrator of a multi-server computer network using Novell NetWare. Responsible for maintenance and design of computer network infrastructure. Initiated in-house manufacture and re-manufacture/re-assignment of computer systems at TISD. Experience with configuring and maintaining Windows and Macintosh systems. Initiated the TISD PC Academy Program for the supervision and training of student technicians. Responsible for conception, coordination, and initial design of TISD website. (The website is currently used as the laboratory of the TISD web mastering class). Achieved a student/computer ratio district wide of less than three and a half to one. Conceptualized and supervised the installation of multi-media presentation stations in each of TISD's four computer Labs.
