Kawasaki Ninja 250R Custom Black Faux Ostrich Upholstery

 

On the morning of August 14th, 2008 I trailered the Ninjette II to Terry's Trim Shop in Greenville and spent three and a half hours with Tony Byrne creating a custom black faux ostrich upholstery set.  The hand fitted "bikini" tank bra took the most time.

The rarely seen and less often used pillion saddle.

Automotive bra hooks used to hold down the side and front of the tank bra while the forward portion of the bra tuck in behind the trailing edge of the upper portion of the fairing.  A small "bungee" wraps around the rear most tank to fairing attachment bracket and provides for a source of front to rear tension on the bra to keep it against the tank.

Tank bra attachment is a work in progress so this will be cleaned up once the tank bra fabric stretches.
