Communications Tower at the Yeager's Home
Introduction
After almost two years I finally found someone who could advise me on the completion of the communications tower I had collected discarded and leftover parts for from a variety of sources. Terry Roberts, the owner of Satellite and TV Hospital, located in Bonham, Texas, double checked the installation of the base in roughly 1.5 yards of concrete and declared it functional. On the morning of January 3, 2009 Terry, assisted by Keith, erected the tower, mounted a digital television antenna and placed the final touches on the installation of a La Crosse Weather Station.

The weather station rain (precipitation) sensor is mounted the propane tank.
The weather station thermo-hygrometer is mounted in its house to prevent damage from direct rain and sunlight.
The thermo-hygrometer unit supplies power to the anemometer and precipitation sensor.
Television, satellite, radio, computer network connections from the tower are mounted under the roof eave.
Periodic Maintenance 2010
Occasionally the tower needs a bit of attention. When the anemometer for our weather station came wore out due to constant wind and dust I used the occasion to tighten the bolts and re-secure the cables in addition to replacing the anemometer. Even the got E-Z-GO TXT invlolved buy carrying tools and supplies.
